Organization Helping To Close The Tech Education GapiGotITtoo is a group that does not seek profit. This organization works to end this digital divide in the New York City’s Burroughs and communities that have been left behind and underserved. They offer a service that is unique and opportunities in these places intending to empower the people in them with technology.IGotITtoo Tech Education Beginnings In New YorkThe group started in 2007, and its name is an abbreviation of “I’ve got information technology, too.” Its offices are in the Brooklyn area in New York City, and the organizations members are striving to make sure that all peoples in the area have access to technology and its tools. The ones who began iGotITtoo started training in a community center. They gave computer classes to close the growing technology gap. After this, more and more people became interest in taking the lessons. These volunteers have now grown to over 2 dozen at three different locations in the Brooklyn area. Google Donation Will Fund IGotITtoo’s Expansion Of Tech EducationThe leader of this effort stated recently that the goal of this operation is expansion throughout the city of New York during this current year.
